Gucci | Bloom
A self-initiated film study inspired by Gucci Bloom Parfum, exploring the fragrance’s white floral world of tuberose, jasmine and gardenia in a nocturnal, cinematic setting.
The core focus of this project was animated light. Rather than treating illumination as a static element, light becomes the protagonist of each scene: golden lights travel across dark water surfaces, sweep over petals and the bottle’s gold botanical artwork, and reveal details out of near-total darkness. This moving chiaroscuro approach, reminiscent of classic still-life painting, gives the film its rhythm and sense of discovery, with every shot transitioning from shadow into light.
Macro cinematography, water reflections and, deliberate camera moves complete the atmosphere: a quiet, sensual night garden in which the fragrance seems to unfold in real time.
